Police Release Crime, Patrol Activity Report
Pennsylvania State Police at the McConnellsburg barracks recently released a report detailing both criminal and patrol activities occurring in county during the month of October. A total of 70 criminal offenses were reported to investigators, and 34 of those offenses were cleared. In addition, a total of 23 arrests were made in connection with the cases.
Meanwhile, the patrol unit responded to 46 traffic collisions, three hit-and-run crashes and two driving-under the-influence accidents. Twenty two individuals were injured during the accidents. Police also issued 499 traffic citations, 574 written warnings, 11 seat-belt citations, one child safety seat citation and six driving-under-the-influence citations.
