Dr. Moody Adams from Baton Rouge, La., will speak at Pleasant Ridge Church of the Brethren on Sunday, November 13, at the 10:30 a.m. service and also Sunday evening at 6:15 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. In his new book, “Christianity in Crisis,” Dr. Adams declares that the rapid changes in government, the church and the family are largely the result of a nation ignoring half of the Great Commission – “to teach and practice everything I have commanded you.” The church is located 2.4 miles north of Needmore on Rt. 655. Evangelistic services will be held starting November 6 at 326 E. Main St., Hancock, beside H&H Storage in the former C&O Canal Visitor Center. Services will be held at 5 p.m. every Sunday, with doors opening at 4:30 p.m. for refreshments and fellowship. More information may be obtained by calling 540-686-0346. Pioneer Club/Youth Group will be held at Rock Hill Mennonite Church from 7 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. on November 9 and 23, December 7 and 21, for ages K- 4 thru teens. For additional information contact 485-9074. Everyone is invited.

Revival Knobsville Church of the Brethren will hold revival services November 6-9 with Brother Frank Leaman. Sunday School will be held at 9:30 a.m. and worship services at 10:30 a.m. A fellowship meal will be held at noon Sunday.
