Southern Fulton’s winning streak continued Monday night when the Indians tallied five goals following the halftime break for a 5-3 Sideling Hill League win over the Everett Warriors. Chase Horton found the back of the net three time for the Indians, and teammates Josh Hall and Matt Garland both chipped in one goal apiece. Taylor Bohrer and Cody Burgoyne rounded out the match with two and one assists, respectively. Goalkeeper Courtney Strait nabbed yet another win with 10 saves in goal.

Northern Bedford 2

McConnellsburg 1

Goalkeeper Nick Daniels is touted is having kept the McConnellsburg Spartans in their game Monday night, which ended in a 2-1 loss in overtime to Northern Bedford. Daniels rounded out the day with 12 saves in goal. Meanwhile, Tristin Deneen posted the Spartans’ lone goal on an assist from teammates Tyler Green and Beau Wilson.

Forbes Road 0

With the season’s end looming near, the Forbes Road Cardinals were unable to jump start their offense Monday, resulting in a 5-0 non-league loss to the Hyndman Hornets. Cardinal goalkeepers Dalton Gilbert and Andrew Willis posted three and one saves, respectively.

McConnellsburg Spartan Tyler Green scored a goal in overtime last Wednesday to push his team ahead of the Forbes Road Cardinals by the score of 2-1. The Spartans other goal was provided by Tristin Deneen, and assists were by Green and Jesse Swope. Spartan goalie Nick Daniels finished with four blocked shots in goal to Cardinal goalkeeper Dalton Gilbert’s six. Michael Runk scored Forbes Road’s lone goal.

Fannett-Metal 4

Southern Fulton 0

Fannett-Metal clinched its 10th shutout of the season Wednesday night with a 4-0 ousting of the Southern Fulton Indians. Goalie Courtney Strait made 10 saves in goal for the Indians during the Sideling Hill League loss.

Southern Fulton 13

Johnstown Christian 5

Southern Fulton had its biggest offensive effort of the fall season Friday evening, trouncing Johnstown Christian 13-5. Chase Horton led the Indians with four goals and two assists, while Briar Kirk and Carter Black both chipped in two goals. Taylor Bohrer added a goal and two assists, and Cody Burgoyne finished with a goal and four assists. Teammate Matt Garland had both an assist and goal, and Courtney Strait and Morgan Strait each contributed a goal.

Belleville Mennonite 7

Forbes Road 1

Belleville Mennonite racked up four goals in the opening half Friday night and easily cruised to a 7-1 non-league win over Forbes Road. Michael Runk scored the Cardinals only goal on an assist from Chase Shaw. Goalkeepers Dalton Gilbert and Andrew Willis both tallied two goals during the match.

Delayed from a game in mid-September, Saturday’s game involving McConnellsburg and Southern Fulton got under way with more than 18 minutes left in the opening half. McConnellsburg had a comeback following the halftime break scoring three goals for a 3-2 Sideling Hill League win over the Indians. Tristin Deneen, Beau Wilson and Jesse Swope each had goals for the Spartans, who received assists from Deneen, Colton Strait, David Welsh Jr. and Ethan Mellott. Chase Horton and Dristen Mellott both scored goals for the Indians, while Taylor Bohrer and Cody Burgoyne each provided an assist. Indian goalkeeper Courtney Strait rallied for 12 blocked shots in goal.
