Open Mic Night Held

Silver Creek band and the Country Cousins band (not shown) played at a recent Warfordsburg Mic Night. Several first-time performers sang, played instruments and shared humorous takes to a packed audience. Sing-a-longs were a favorite, as the stage bands led numerous old-time favorites. Vernon Clingerman sang “Letter Edged in Black” and “The Lighthouse.” Ruby Barnhart won a flag blanket and Betty Everts a decorative autumn ornament filled with candy. November 12 is the next scheduled Mic Night. Everyone is welcome to attend and share their talents or just listen to the entertainment.
