Cards Of Thanks
I would like to thank “everyone” for all the heartfelt, beautiful, caring thoughts, prayers and deeds extended to me and my family on the loss of my son, Matthew, October 7, 2011.
Whether it was with a visit, a call, a card with caring words written on it, a hug, a shoulder to cry on, food or help, all were so kind and helpful and I want you to know, they were all so needed and greatly appreciated more than words can say. You are all such wonderful, caring people and we are so grateful to all of you for sharing and caring in our time of grief over the loss of our wonderful son, brother and father, Matthew.
A special thanks to Pastor Bill Bair, my family, my church family and friends. Thank you all and God Bless.
Shirley Barclay and family.
A note of thanks to family, friends and neighbors for the visits, cards and gifts I received for my 90th birthday. It is a wonderful blessing to know that one has so many friends. God bless each of you.
Thank you to the FFF committee in Waterfall. Without their worry, work and sweat it would not have happened and the rest of us would have missed a best time ever on Saturday, October 15.
The day’s events were focused on the children, and a lot of planned games and activities kept them busy and happy. The young at heart also had a good time visiting with friends now and years ago, while eating apple dumplings, hot sausage, kettle-cooked bean soup and chicken noodle and a whole lot more.
Everyone enjoys Pappy Reed’s animals and, of course, the pet parade, and everyone thinks their pet is the best and, of course, it is.
Then the fashion show, and I can’t thank you enough for your participation and enthusiasm. We have more clothes than you can imagine there, and if you can’t find one thing to suit your fancy, my name ain’t Mrs. 2nd Time Around. If you can’t afford our prices, I challenge you to find it elsewhere cheaper.
Thanks again everyone for a fun-loving day!
