Specialty Services Adds Two Doctors
Fulton County Medical Center Specialty Services staff this week welcomed two podiatric surgery specialists from Orthopedic Associates of Chambersburg, doctors Karli Richards, DPM, and Katherine Cashdollar, DPM.
Dr. Karli Richards graduated from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine, in 2005. She received her Bachelor of Arts, Minor in Pre-Medical Science degree from the University of Notre Dame in 2001. Dr. Richards is also a local graduate of Mercersburg.
She completed her specialty residency at St. Luke’s Hospital and Health Network in Bethlehem, Pa., and Charcot Reconstructive Foot Program in Quakertown, from 2006-2008. She was chief resident 2007-2008. Her prior residency experience also involved advance wound therapies, advanced wound care and cadaver muscle labs.
Dr. Cashdollar graduated from Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, Pa., in 2003 where she received her Bachelor of Science degree. She completed her specialty residency at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia,
Pa., from 2007-2011.
Both physicians are trained in all aspects of foot and ankle trauma and surgery. They will be providing services for foot and ankle trauma and fractures, sports injuries, routine foot care, and lower extremity wound care every other Monday in the Specialty Services Building on the FCMC campus.
With the addition of these two specialists, FCMC has secured a total of six new physicians since opening up the Specialty Services uilding in June 2010, including: infectious disease physician Dr. Parviz, orthopedic specialist Dr. Fernandez from the Orthopedic Institute and two gynecologists, Alonzo L. Grant, M.D., and Ralph Aldinger, D.O., of UPMC Bedford OB-GYN Associates. FCMC is thrilled to be able to provide more specialists than ever before and is anticipating adding even more in the near future.
