Coming out strong early in the game, McConnellsburg wasn’t able to find the back of the goal Monday night, losing to the Hyndman Hornets 4-0. Spartan goalkeeper Nick Daniels made 11 saves in goal during the non-league match.

Avenging a loss earlier in the season, Forbes Road inched by the Northern Bedford Panthers in overtime by the narrow score of 4- 3. Chase Shaw rallied for all four goals for the Cardinals during Monday’s Sideling Hill League game that were coincidentally scored on four assists by teammate Michael Runk. Dalton Gilbert, goalie, picked up the victory with six saves in goal.

Southern Fulton 1
Monday evening’s game would be decided on in overtime action, with Chestnut Ridge prevailing over Southern Fulton 2-1. Briar Kirk had the Indians’ lone goal on an assist by Taylor Bohrer. Meanwhile, Courtney Strait tallied a whopping 18 saves in goal.
Southern Fulton 5
Chase Horton tallied three of Southern Fulton’s five goals Friday during a 5- 1 ousting of Berlin. Cody Burgoyne and Matt Garland both added goals, and Taylor Bohrer chipped in three assists. Garland and teammate Carter Black both had assists as well during the non-league match. Goalkeeper Courtney Strait recorded the victory in goal with 10 saves.

Chestnut Ridge 1
Dalton Gilbert held off Chestnut Ridge’s offensive effort last Wednesday, while Forbes Road’s own Michael Runk scored two goals to lead the Cardinals on to a 2- 1 victory. Ryan Stoekle and Chase Shaw both dished out assists during the Sideling Hill League match, and goalie Gilbert finished out the game with 16 blocked shots.
Everett knocked in a goal following the halftime break last Wednesda, but it was too little, too late as the Mc- Connellsburg Spartans rolled to a 2-1 Sideling Hill League victory. Beau Wilson and Tristin Deneen both rallied for goals for the Spartans, who received assists from Drew Lake, Hunter Miller and Deneen. Goalkeeper Nick Daniels made 11 saves in goal for the win.
Chestnut Ridge 6
The McConnellsburg Spartans were unable to kick-start their offense last Thursday after being subjected to a 40-minute delay for lightening. In dropping the Sideling Hill League game by the score of 6-2 to Chestnut Ridge, Casey Randler and Tristin Deneen both scored goals for the Spartans. Handing out assists were Alex Keaton and Randler. Nick Daniels had five saves in goal.
