Two Vehicles Towed
Two vehicles were towed from the scene of an accident along Route 30 in Licking Creek Township on Tuesday, September 27.
State police reported David R. Gingerich, 60, of Guy Mills, Pa., lost control of his eastbound 1994 Ford Ranger on the rain-soaked roadway at 11:10 a.m. Gingerich’s truck travelled into the oncoming lane and collided with a 2004 Ford Lariat driven by Gettysburg resident Gene P. Moose.
Gingerich was not using a seat belt and suffered minor injuries. Moose, 60, and his passenger Susan M. White, 47, also of Gettysburg, were wearing seat belts and escaped harm. Both vehicles were removed from the scene after having suffered disabling damage.
State police will cited Gingerich with driving a vehicle at unsafe speeds.
