Roger and Pat Ramsey visited with Brian, Emily and Micah Ramsey on Monday.

Angel Wings will sponsor their its annual fall and Christmas bazaar at the Orbisonia Lions building on October 29 and 30. Proceeds from this event will be used to replenish the general fund for possible winter need requests. Vendors should contact Deb Snyder at 814-599- 8687 before Oct. 20 to reserve a spot.

Four filled wagons of folks enjoyed the annual Immanuel Bible Church hayride on Sunday. The weather was beautiful and it was warm enough for a picnic in the pavilion following the ride.

Deepest sympathy and prayers are extended to Clyde and Ruth Wilson on the loss of Anzie.

Angel Wings will be preparing and serving the dinner theater meal at the Stone Valley Church of Brethren in Huntingdon for the next two Saturdays for the performance of “Driving Miss Daisy.” Please visit “The Trolley Car Theater’s” Web site for reservations. All proceeds from the meals will be donated to the Angel Wings organization.

Zumba Fitness classes will be held at Celebrations Unlimited, formerly the Pleasant Valley Restaurant, starting on October 22 and running for four consecutive weeks.

A surprise birthday party was held on Sunday afternoon at Hoss’s Restaurant in Huntingdon in honor of Curt Patterson’s 50th birthday. More than 30 friends and family helped to celebrate the event with a traditional happy birthday song, followed by the Hoss’s gang rendition.

Ramon and Tammy Martin visited with Steve and Karen Grissinger and family on Monday evening after returning from their honeymoon in the Outer Banks.

Karen Grissinger visited with Travis, Tonya, Tristen and Ty Hall on Wednesday evening.

Brent Carlson visited with Steve Grissinger on Saturday.

Enjoy the Fulton Fall Folk Festival this weekend. Also good luck is wished to the muzzle-loader hunters on Saturday.
