Mellott Leads Tennis Team To Silver



Local tennis player Bronwyne Mellott helped lead her USTA Middle States tennis team to a silver medal at the USTA National Zonal tennis tournament held recently in Valley Forge, Pa. The top-six girl tennis players from Middle States (which includes Pennsylvania, Delaware and New Jersey) were selected to represent their section in the national tournament. Bronwyne also currently holds the numberone ranking in girls 16s in the central PA district. She is the daughter of Howard and Karla Mellott and a student at McConnellsburg Middle School.
