Car Strikes Utility Pole
A Six Mile Run man was not injured when he lost control of his vehicle between the entrance to the Pennsylvania Turnpike and Forbes Trail Road last Tuesday, September 27.
Pennsylvania State Police reported 54-year-old Stephen D. Roscoe lost control of his northbound 1997 Mercury Sable on rain- soaked Great Cove Road at 3:20 p.m. The car went onto the eastern berm and struck a utility pole. The vehicle was disabled as a result of the damage and had to be towed from the scene.
Roscoe was wearing a seat belt and escaped harm. He will be cited for driving on roadways laned for traffic.
