Car Strikes Tree

A Pittsburgh woman was taken to UPMC Bedford on Saturday after sustaining moderate injuries in a single vehicle accident along Route 915.

According to state police reports, 30-year-old Jennifer Allison was travelling northbound between Mountain House Road and Oregon Road when she lost control of her 2001 Mercury Sable on the rain-soaked roadway. The car went onto the berm where it struck a tree at 1:05 p.m.

Allison, who was wearing a seatbelt, was transported to the hospital by Raystown EMS. Others assisting at the scene were Hustontown Volunteer Fire Co., fire police and Tin Man Towing.
