Liquor Control Officer Arrested For DUI
PITTSBURGH (AP) – Pittsburgh police say they’ve arrested a state police liquor control officer and charged her with driving a state- owned car while drunk.
Police say 39-year- old Tyrribea Flood, of West Mifflin, rear-ended another car about 11:50 p.m. Thursday, the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review (http://bit.ly/mYSl8t ) reports.
No one was injured, but another officer walked over and smelled alcohol on Flood's breath, police say.
Flood was released to her family. Police charged her with driving under the influence, following too closely and other counts.
Flood has been an officer for the state police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement for about 10 years, says state police Sgt. Anthony Manetta, but it was unclear if she was working at the time of the crash.
A message left at a number listed for Flood was not immediately returned.
