FCMC Foundation Holds Annual Golf Tournament

On Saturday, September 17, 2011, Fulton County Medical Center Foundation held their 18th annual golf tournament at Great Cove Golf Course with a full tournament. Ninety- one golfers took their swing at the traveling trophy this year.

First- place team was Craig Paylor, Ron Maslanik, Alex Kessler, John Blubaugh; second-place team members were Fred Peck, Bob Peck, Jason Long, Russell Harman; and third-place team members were Gene Raby, Ken Peck, Alex Peck, Lee Shearer

The ever- popular ball drop contest gave three lucky winners $333 each. Winners were Amy Headley, Chris Carr and Herb Price. Mc- Connellsburg Fire Co. provided the chicken and ribs meal. The tournament grossed more than $22,000. Ms. Headley, who recently retired from FCMC, donated her winnings back to support a new child’s play area to be installed in the FCMC main lobby.”
