Coroner: Pa. Man Died Weeks Before Body Found
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. (AP) – A medical examiner in central Pennsylvania says a man whose body was found recently in a small stream likely died weeks ago.
The Franklin County coroner used dental records to identify the man as 19- year-old Kellan Reaver of Chambersburg.
Coroner Jeffrey Conner said in a statement that an autopsy performed Friday morning was unable to determine the cause of death. He says toxicology tests will take up to three months.
Reaver's body was found Wednesday morning in Chambersburg by someone inspecting a culvert for a planned renovation project.
The coroner says Reaver had probably been dead for two to four weeks.
