Admission Reduced At Fairgrounds For FFFF

SPECIAL TO THE NEWS

Grease Steam & Rust Association would like to announce that gate admission this year will be reduced to $2 for the Fulton Fall Folk Festival’s steam and gas show. The decision was made due to the economy and to promote local participation in the show. Featured this year will be Allis Chalmers tractors and equipment.

The show will run Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 14, 15 and 16, with a few schedule changes. Friday evening will feature the Orlo Ink 4x4 truck pull beginning at 7 p.m. Saturday’s events include participation in the annual Fulton Fall Folk Festival parade at 10:30 a.m., rain or shine. At 1 p.m., there will be lawn mower races sanctioned by McConnellsburg Small Engine Club, and at 7 p.m. there will be a farm stock tractor and steam engine pull. A nondenominational church service at 9 a.m. will begin Sunday’s activities. The antique and classic tractor pull will begin at 11 a.m. Drawing for the raffle will be held at 3 p.m.

The Farm Toy Show starts Friday at 2 p.m. and is open each day. Steam-powered equipment will be in operation along with small engine displays, a blacksmith, inside and outside displays, and demonstrations.

Activities will be held for the children, including candy scrambles and pedal pull. As always, there will be lots of delicious food and flea and craft markets.
