Elk Find A Home In Fulton County

This bull elk is one of a small herd of elk that Lyle Mellott is raising on 30+ acres of land on his Licking Creek Township farm on Sipes Mill Road near Sideling Hill Christian Church. The herd includes the bull elk, four cow elk and two calves, which were born here. The adult elk came from various locations, said Mellott, who invites people to come by and see one of the largest species of deer in the world and one of the largest land mammals in North America.
