The fourth fatality for 1971 was recorded in Fulton County as a result of an auto accident on Route 70 last Tuesday. The victim of the fatal accident was identified as Nellie Hoover of Greenville, Pa., who was pronounced dead on arrival at the Bedford Memorial Hospital.

McConnellsburg Firehall was filled to overflowing as Democrats and friends assembled for the annual fall dinner on October 2.

Mr. and Mrs. Earl Alloway of McConnellsburg have announced the marriage of their daughter, Sandra Kay Alloway, to Edward Joseph Graham, son of Mrs. Teresa Graham and the late Everett Graham of Meriden,

Conn., on September 22.

Air Force Technical Sgt. Kenneth G. Sigel, son of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Barnhart of Needmore, has arrived for duty at Langley Air Force Base, Va.

TSgt. Robert Bennett of Hustontown recently retuned home from Taiwan on Wednesday, September 22, to join his family. The family will leave on September 24 for George Air Force Base, Calif., where he is to be stationed.

Lance Cpl. H.P. Naugle will graduate from Ground Radio School at Marine Base Camp, Calif., on October 15 and will enjoy a 30-day furlough with his family here before being transferred to Cherry Point Marine Base in North Carolina.

Births at the Medical Center: a daughter to Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Powell of Hancock on October 2; a daughter to Mr. and Mrs. Duane Defibaugh of Wood on October 6; a son to Mr. and Mrs. Marion Mellott of Hancock on October 6; a daughter to Mr. and Mrs. James Johnson of Everett on October 6; a son to Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Anderson on October 8.
