Drivers Unharmed

Two drivers escaped harm on Sunday, September 25, when their vehicles collided at the intersection of Route 30 and Route 655 in Licking Creek Township.

Pennsylvania State Police said Patrick McCachren, 45, of Balsano, Pa., pulled from the intersection at 12:40 p.m. and into the path of a westbound 1997 Chevrolet S-10 driven by Darry Chilcote, 20, of St. Thomas. Chilcote was unable to stop in time, and his truck crashed into the passenger side of Mc- Cachren’s 2004 Chevrolet Blazer. Both drivers were wearing seat belts.
