Tied going into the halftime break Monday, the Mc- Connellsburg Spartans blew open the Sideling Hill League game, downing the Everett Warriors 4-1. Tristin Deneen had two goals, and Jesse Swope and Beau Wilson both chipped in one each. Swope also had two assists, while Nick Daniels and Drew Lake each added one assist. Daniels, who also serves in the capacity of goalie, finished out the match with four saves.

Forbes Road 2
With only four minutes left on the overtime clock Monday, Chestnut Ridge knocked in one last goal to defeat Forbes Road by the narrow score of 3-2. During the Sideling Hill League match, the Cardinals were led by Gabriel Goizueta and Philip Dodson with one goal each. Chase Shaw and Michael Runk dished out assists. Dalton Gilbert, goalie, tallied nine assists during the game.

Fannett- Metal outscored Forbes Road 7-4 last Wednesday for the 2-0 Sideling Hill League victory. Cardinal goalkeeper Dalton Gilbert finished out the game with one save.
Forbes Road 6
Forbes Road dominated the first half of last Thursday evening’s Sideling Hill League match, scoring five goals against Everett during the 6-1 win. Michael Runk totalled three goals for the Cardinals and was followed by Chase Shaw, Matthew Bricker and Casey Covert with one goal each. Shaw added two assists, and Casey Wade had an assist as well. In goal, Dalton Gilbert and Andrew Willis each chipped in two saves.

Johnstown Christian 2
Southern Fulton Indian Matt Garland tallied three goals Friday and led his teammates to a 6-2 nonleague win over Johnstown Christian. Chase Horton, Taylor Bohrer and Josh Hill each added a goal as well, while Briar Kirk, Morgan Strait and Bohrer all contributed assists. Indian goalkeeper Courtney Strait finished out the match with nine saves.

Southern Huntingdon 0
Forbes Road scored three goals before the halftime break and followed up with another two unanswered goals for a 5-0 ousting of the Southern Huntingdon Rockets. Sammie Clippinger had an outstanding night for the Lady Cardinals offense, racking up a total of four goals, and Emily Karczewski added the final goal and an assist. Corri Parsons, Tiffany Thom- and Lara Cromer each had an assist as well. Goalie Jessica Gearhart had a relatively quiet evening in goal with three blocked shots.
Mercersburg Academy 1
Forbes Road 0
The Forbes Road Lady Cardinals held the advantage in both penalty corners and shots Friday night, but it was Mercersburg Academy who prevailed for the 1- 0 non-league victory. Cardinal goalie Jessica Gearhart blocked seven shots during the match.
North Star 7
McConnellsburg’s season record evened out at 1-1 last Tuesday night when North Star ran away with a 7-1 nonleague victory. Libby Strayer scored the team’s only goal on an assist from teammate Nikki Fleming. Sarrah Pollock led the Lady Spartans defensive effort with 17 saves in goal.
McConnellsburg presented a solid offense last Thursday, scoring two goals in each half for a 4-1 Sideling Hill League win over the Everett Warriors. Libby Strayer and Sam Roberts both connected for two goals, and Nikki Fleming, Sarra Kendall and Nicki Mc- Quade all had assists. Goalkeeper Sarrah Pollock picked up the win with eight blocked shots.

McConnellsburg Lady Spartans bumped their fall season record to 3-0 last Thursday when they downed county rivals, the Southern Fulton Indians, in three straight sets. Emily Watkins led the Lady Spartans in the kill category with 11 and added six digs, while teammate Rikki Green added seven kills and three assists. Gabrielle Danner dished out 17 assists, and Jessica Nero finished with four digs and five aces.
The Indians were led by Emily Barton with four kills, 10 service points and three aces. Whitney Ritz followed closely with three kills and four blocks, and Jenna Palmer chipped in nine service points and four digs.

Bishop Walsh 0
Southern Fulton squeaked out three consecutive victories Monday night for a 3- 0 non-league victory over Bishop Walsh. Jenna Palmer had a strong showing for the Lady Indians with four kills, 19 service points and three aces. Teammate Whitney Ritz added five kills, and Emily Barton chipped in five kills, three blocks and four aces. Abby Hawkins handed out 10 assists, and Cheyenne Koons rounded out the day with 11 service points.
