Clara L. Yetter
Clara Lou Yetter, 73, a resident of the Long-Term Care Unit of Fulton County Medical Center, McConnellsburg, PA and formerly of Wells Tannery, died at 2:47 p.m., Sunday, September 18, 2011, at the Medical Center.
Born February 28, 1938, at Wells Tannery, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Mabel (Bolinger) Yetter.
She is survived by one sister, Joan Wolfe, and husband Tom of Wells Tannery, along with a nephew, Steven Wolfe and wife Jan of Shippensburg, and a niece, Melinda Deremer, and husband Tom, of Wells Tannery.
She was a member of Pine Grove United Methodist Church for more than 60 years until its closing. She then became a member of the Sherman’s Valley Brethren in Christ Church, Hopewell.
She had a constant and unwavering faith in God that sustained her daily.
She was an avid Penn State football fan, enjoyed her pets and loved children, especially her niece and nephew, great nephews and great niece and great-greatnieces and great- greatnephew.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, September 22, 2011, at the M. R. Brown Funeral Home, 301 Pitt St., Hustontown, with Pastor Michael Purnell officiating. Interment will be made at the Wells Valley Methodist Cemetery, RD, Wells Tannery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Wednesday and one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
