Fall Tea

Fulton County Historical Society is “brewing” a fall tea. Fall in love with the fresh homemade seasonal soup, salad and desserts. The tea will be held at the Fulton House, 112 Lincoln Way East, McConnellsburg, October 1 at 11:30 a.m. Tickets are $9 for adults and $4.50 for children. Trinity United Church of Christ in Fort Loudon will hold its chicken, ham and beef potpie supper Saturday, October 8, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the community center at Hawbaker Drive and Mullen Street. Eat in or order carryouts. Menu includes pepper slaw, applesauce, pickles, cake, punch and coffee. Soup/Sandwich Sale

A soup and sandwich sale will be held September 24, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Asbury United Methodist Church, 7404 Lincoln Highway, Harrisonville. Eat in or takeout vegetable, chicken corn and ham bean soup for $4.50 a quart or $1 per bowl will be available. Ham and turkey sandwiches also for $3 each. A free community meal will be held at Asbury United Methodist Church, 7404 Lincoln Highway, Harrisonville, September 22, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Everyone is welcome. Free Meal

St. Paul Lutheran Church at 220 North Third Street, McConnellsburg, will serve a free meal the second Tuesday of each month from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Come and enjoy good food and fellowship. Note: no free meal in October but will continue again in November.
