An argument on Sunday, September 4, between two McConnellsburg residents escalated into shoving, state police reported.

According to the police, 19-year-old Dillon Swope was involved in an argument with an 18-year-old female from McConnellsburg along East Market Street. Swope is accused of grabbing and shoving the girl during the 8:30 p. m. fight near the Mc- Connellsburg Firehall. Swope also allegedly kicked the girl’s car and bent the antenna, causing approximately $450 in damage.

Charges of harassment and criminal mischief have been filed against Swope through Magisterial District Judge Wendy Mellott.
