Hustontown/Forbes Road Alumni Banquet

Hustontown/ Forbes Road Alumni banquet will be held Saturday, October 1, at Hustontown Firehall. All graduates from either high school are invited to attend and bring a guests. The classes of 1941, 1951, 1961, 1971, 1981, 1991 and 2001 are extended a special invitation to attend. The doors will open at 4 p.m., so come early and visit with friends. The meal will be served at 6 p.m. Cost is $9 per person. Send money along with reservations to Sarah Shaw, PO Box 446, Hustontown, PA 17228. Please make reservations by September 19. The descendants of John Harr, 1776-1852, will hold their 26th reunion on Sunday, September 18, at the VFW picnic grounds in Big Cove Tannery. Each family is asked to bring a picnic lunch to be shared at 12:30 p.m. Everetts Reunion

The Jackson and Alice St. Clair Everetts reunion will be held September 25, at 2 p.m., at Two Top Ruritan Club, Mercersburg. The meal will be at 1 p.m. Bring a covered dish. More information may be obtained by calling 485- 5908 or 485-3904. FR Class of 1961 Reunion

Forbes Road High School Class of 1961 will hold its 50-year class reunion September 30, at 6 p.m., at Celebrations Unlimited, at the Y in Fort Littleton. Cost of the meal is $12.50 per person. The Harry N. and Arishia DeShong reunion will be held September 18 at the homeplace on Goldie Road. Please note change of date and place being held. Lunch will be at 1 p.m. Bring lawn chairs. FR Class Of 1981 Reunion

Forbes Road High School Class of 1981 will hold its 30-year class reunion September 17 at 6 p.m. at the Union Hotel and Restaurant, 128 East Main St., Everett. Cost per person is $20 for the buffet-style meal. RSVP at frhsclassofeightyone@yahoo.com. by August 30 with name(s) and if coming alone or bringing a friend/spouse.
