Lunda I. Weimer, 92, formerly of McConnellsburg, and Attica, Ohio, died Sunday, September 4, 2011, at Aprontree Personal Care Home in Spring Run, Pa.

She was born October 21, 1918, in Big Cove Tannery, the daughter of the late Samuel and Julia (Pittman) Peck.

She was a 1937 graduate of McConnellsburg High School and a Harrisburg business school. She was em- ployed in the business/ hospitality industry in the Harrisburg, Lancaster area before moving to Attica, Ohio, where she worked for the North Central Electric Co.

She is survived by by 14 nieces and nephews: Elizabeth Peck Baker, Hope Garland Rohm, Faye Gordon Elvey, Marie Elshelman Dice, Lunda Williams Strait, Clara Williams Mellott, Lewis Williams, Doris Peck Strait, Nancy Peck Eichelberger, Irma Peck Henry, Carol Peck Waters, Sammie Peck, Gary Lee Peck and Floyd Dean Peck.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Samuel and Julia Peck; four sisters: Daisy Garland, Jeannette Gordon, Edna Eshelman and Mary Williams and four brothers: Howard, Peter, Jacob and Sammie Peck; one niece, Jessie Peck Mellott; and two nephews: Herman Garland and Carl H. Peck.

Prior to being a resident at Aprontree Personal Care Home she resided for 11 years with her niece, J. Faye and Roger Elvey, in McConnellsburg.

Funeral services were held 11 a.m., Wednesday, September 7, 2011, at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home in Mc- Con-nellsburg. Interment was at Union Cemetery.
