Holocaust Survivor Robbed In Pa.

ABINGTON, Pa. (AP) – Police say an elderly Holocaust survivor was the target of a home-invasion attack last week in suburban Philadelphia.

KYW-TV reports 77-yearold Ruth Salzman was assaulted by two teenagers insider her home in Abington.

Salzman says one teen was armed with a hatchet and she was pepper sprayed several times by the intruders, who made off with three handguns, cash and jewelry.

Salzman tells the station (http://cbsloc.al/naLp2c ) she’s ready if the intruders come back. She says she’s willing to shoot them and plans to buy a guard dog.

Salzman was born in 1934 in Czechoslovakia and immigrated to the United States when she was 12.
