Worship services with Rev. Allen Weatherholt will continue to be held each month on the third Sunday of the month at 7 p.m. until December at Buck Valley Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church. Motorcycle Sunday Services

The second annual Motorcycle Sunday will be held Sunday, September 11, at Mercersburg Mennonite Church, 10060 Buchanan Trail West, Mercersburg. Fellowship meal will follow along with an afternoon ride. Pastor Eshelman and the congregation invite all, including motorcycle enthusiasts, to attend. My Father’s House Ministries will be holding a special service Sunday, September 11, at 7 p.m. Guest speaker will be Randy Whetstone, who will be teaching on “How To Hear The Voice Of God.” More information may be obtained by calling 485-4680. On Sunday September 25, 2011, at 6:30 p.m., an evening of music will be celebrated at Knobsville United Methodist Church. The evening will be comprised of individuals and groups such as Kathy Cutchall, Zoe Cutchall, Lucas Hale, Darl Hixon, Jeffrey Hixon, Roxanne, Nathaniel, Kaitlyn Maxwell, Olivia Mills, Psalms 100 (Breezewood UM Choir), and Andria Shaffer, to name a few. Revival services will be held September 25, 26 and

Ebenezer United Methodist Church, Harrisonville, with special music and different speakers. It will be held outside weather permitting so bring lawn chairs. Services will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Caravan Program

The 2011-12 Caravan program will begin Wednesday evening, September 7, at Pleasant Ridge Church of the Nazarene. The opening evening will be a fun evening with a puppet show, music, games and snack, giving children an opportunity to interact and become acquainted with each other. The program is open to all children ages 4 and up and is held each Wednesday from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Each week following opening night will begin with an opening with flag salutes, object lesson and prayer, after which children will divide into age groups for other activities. The church is located at 8506 Pleasant Ridge Road. Parents and/or others bringing children are invited to stay and attend Bible study during this time. McConnellsburg Women’s Bible Study (MWBS) will be starting an eight-week Bible study on Thursdays, beginning September 15, from 9:30 a.m. to noon, at Cito United Methodist Church. This study is called “The Invisible War” by Chip Ingram and deals with the reality that every born-again believer faces that of spiritual warfare. Refreshments and childcare are provided. The Friends of Tonoloway will hold its annual fall service October 2 at historic Tonoloway Primitive Baptist Church in Thompson Township, Fulton County. The 2 p.m. service will include an inspirational message by Mac Miller, associate pastor at Pleasant Ridge Church of the Brethren. Refreshments will be served in the churchyard following the service. Established in 1752, Tonoloway is Fulton County’s oldest church and is located on Thompson Road (state Route 655) two miles north of Hancock, Md. Friends of Tonoloway is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation of Tonoloway Primitive Baptist Church. Presbyterian Church Fall Schedule

McConnellsburg United Presbyterian Church announces its return to a fall schedule beginning September 11 with Sunday School for all ages starting at 9:30 a.m., fellowship time at 10:30 a.m., and worship starting at 11 a.m. The church is located at the corner of South Second and Maple streets.
