A 2003 Dodge Caravan was rear-ended last Friday in Franklin County by a 2006 Chevrolet Blazer driven by a Hustontown area girl, state police in Chambersburg reported.
Reports indicate the Caravan driven by Brenda L. Risser, 52, of St. Thomas, was struck from behind at 5:33 p.m. by a Blazer operated by 17-year-old Leah R. Summers. The crash occurred along the westbound lane of Route 30 at the intersection of Apple Way Road, police said.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts. Only Risser sustained minor injuries. Summers will be cited for driving too fast for roadway conditions.
