Jesse I. Greenawalt Jr.

Jesse I. Greenawalt Jr., 88, Wells Tannery, formerly of Everett, died Friday, July 29, 2011, at Donahoe Manor, Bedford.

He was born on February 1, 1923, in Everett, a son of Jesse I. Greenawalt Sr. and Mary ( Miller) Greenawalt. On July 28, 1949, in Winchester, Va., he married Mabel Pearl (Hoy) Greenawalt.

He is survived by several nieces and nephews and special friends he resided with, Bob and Wanda Johnson, who loved him dearly.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Frances A. Ritchey

He was of the Protestant faith.

He drove truck in his earlier years, then later was a self-employed welder and mechanic until his retirement.

He always enjoyed talking and fellowshipping with his friends.

Funeral services were held on Monday, August 1, 2011, at 11 a.m. in the chapel at Akers Funeral Home, Everett. Pastor H. Lee Ritchey officiated. Burial was held at Everett Cemetery
