Pa. Man Convicted Of Killing Ex, Her New Beau
PITTSBURGH (AP) – A Pittsburgh man has been convicted of two counts of first-degree murder for killing his ex-girlfriend and her boyfriend three years ago.
An Allegheny County jury on Wednesday convicted 57- year-old Wendell Jones in the slayings of Sonsiarae Watts and her boyfriend, Dahl Palm, inside the woman’s Stowe Township home on July 4, 2008.
Investigators say both victims had been shot. Police say Watts had previously taken out a protection from abuse order against Jones.
