Branch Library Wins $5,000 From CS Bank

The Community State Bank of Orbisonia presented a check for $5,000 to the Hustontown Branch of the Fulton County Library Tuesday as one of five winners in its 60th Year Anniversary Community Success Contest. Branch librarian Trudy Fix submitted the entry chosen by the judges for the community award, which will go into the operating budget to help keep the branch open. Library funding was cut this year by the commissioners which also caused the library to lose state funding.
