Paul and Susie Schmidt, Donnie and Panda Horne and Roger and Pat Ramsey enjoyed dinner and a Hubcaps concert at the Shippensburg Fair on Saturday evening.

Visiting recently with the Steve and Karen Grissinger family were Buzz and Bea Covert, Kenny Waite, Brent Carlson, Donna Locke, Tom and Mamie Streightiff, Kevin Fleck, and Brad, Pamela, Harlie, Heidi and Michael Strait.

Shaine and Kean Goshorn spent a day last week hanging out with Uncle Buzz and Aunt Bea Covert.

Ruth Grissinger visited with Gordon and Donna Locke last Wednesday and enjoyed cooling off in the pool.

George and Heather Locke recently enjoyed some camping in Williamsport, Md., with Greg and Pam Smith.

Last Tuesday, George and Heather Locke visited with cousin Tommy Black of Homewood Retirement Center in Martinsburg.

Brian and Micah Ramsey visited with Roger and Pat Ramsey on Saturday.

Trudy and Terry Fix visited with Roger and Pat Ramsey on Sunday evening.

Fifteen families from Immanuel Bible Church will be hosting a large yard sale and food stand on August 13 beginning at 8 a.m. We hope to see you there.

Terri and Tammy Grissinger spent a few days at Bethany Beach this past week.

Three Springs Volunteer Fire Co. will host a turkey dinner on Sunday, August 14, beginning at 11 a.m.

A sportsmen’s outreach will be held at Immanuel Bible Church on August 20 beginning at 11 a.m. with speakers, prizes and good food. Special speaker for the event will be author and humorist Joey Hancock. The Wissmann Family will present a concert following at 3:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Walnut Grove senior youth group had a great time in Ocean City, Md., over the weekend. Those travelling were Dustin Barr, Alex and Christian Cornelius, Kevin, Lynette and Brianne Fleck, Dane Rhoades, DJ Stains, Dezaray Swope, and Joe, Melanie and Dison Myers.

Betty Ramsey and Ed and Kim Stevens attended Hilary Forslund Costello’s baby shower in Pittsburgh over the weekend.

Roger Ramsey spotted a bear last week on Sinoquipe Road, and Pat Ramsey saw a large bear near Caledonia, crossing Route 30.
