Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Smith Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Smith Nathan Paul Smith and Rachel Ann Booth were united in marriage May 17, 2011, on the beach in Montego Bay, Jamaica.

Rev. Garnet A. Neathly officiated at the 5 p.m. wedding ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Wayne and Roseann Booth of Berkeley Springs. She is the granddaughter of Vesta Maravelis of Berkeley Springs, the late Marshall Maravelis and the late Allen and Irene Booth.

The groom is the son of Paul and Connie Smith of Mercersburg. He is the grandson of Paul and Darlene Smith and Herb and Eleanor Fink, all of Hancock.

The bride, wearing a strapless dress, accented with a corset and a turquoise sash, was escorted to the beachside ceremony by her father.

The bride is a 2009 graduate of Berkeley Springs High School and attends Hagerstown Community College pursuing a degree in radiology and a certification in pharmacy technology.

The groom is a 2007 graduate of Southern Fulton High School and a 2011 graduate of Associated Builders and Contractors, Cumberland Valley Inc., with a journeyman electrical certification. He is continuing his education in solar electricity and controls. He is employed by Tissa Enterprises Inc. as an electrician.

A reception was held at Hancock United Methodist Church on June 25.

The couple currently reside in Hagerstown.
