Deaf Teen Run Over By Milk Truck In Central Pa.
PEACH BOTTOM, Pa. (AP) – Police say a 14-yearold girl who was deaf and mute was killed when she was run over by a milk truck in central Pennsylvania.
State police in Lancaster County say Barbara Stoltzfus had been playing on and underneath the tanker truck around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday in Fulton Township. The driver apparently pulled away without knowing she was under the truck.
Coroner Stephen Diamantoni says the girl died instantly of multiple traumatic injuries. He says the girl’s 9-year-old sister witnessed the accident and her family was nearby.
