Commends Needmore Fire Co., FCMC

To The Editor:

Ten days ago I was injured at my home and was reminded of what an important and wonderful job our local ambulance and EMS volunteers do on a daily basis. The Needmore volunteers that responded to my daughter’s 911 call were extremely kind, patient and professional. They worked through a situation that was anxious for me and kept me safe and secure while moving quickly and efficiently through their duties. They were all helpful, reassuring and genuinely kind and caring. I am very thankful for all that they did for me onsite and through transport.

Once I arrived at Fulton County Medical Center, I was treated very well within the ER, radiology, CT scan area and finally the hospital area where I was admitted for three days. The entire staff of doctors, nurses and technicians were very prepared, thoughtful and their kindness was unbelievable. They listened to my concerns, their exams were thorough, and they were helpful and patient as they assisted me with everything that I needed.

So often we hear when people do things wrong. I felt compelled to write to you to let you know what a fine job these two local organizations did. I am grateful for the kindness of each individual that I came in contact with as a result of my accident and commend the volunteers at Needmore Fire Co. and the employees at Fulton County Medical Center for all that they did for me.
