Neva Fleming will be a patient in Woodland Retirement Home for a few weeks for therapy. We wish her a speedy recovery.

Immanuel Bible Church enjoyed services at Cowan’s Gap on Sunday. Campers for the weekend included Dan, Kolton and Alayna Gaff, Brittany and Fawne Yoder, Mike and Tracey Greenland, Terri Grissinger, Nick McConahuey, Teresa Greenland, Gary and Valerie Mitchell and grandchildren, Will, Jen, Caleb and Emily Greenland, Bonnie Watkins and grandchildren, and Rick and Kelli Grissinger.

Kolton Gafff played in the Martinsburg All-Star Tournament this weekend, with his team winning two games on Saturday. Alayna is wished luck as she participates in the Huntingdon County Fire Convention Little Miss Princess Pageant.

John and Carol Puskarich of Penn Central Physical Therapy would like to share the news of the newest addition to their family. Their daughter, Nicole, and husband Scott were blessed with the birth of Audrey Katherine Newcombe on June 29 at 3:41 a.m, weighing 8 pounds, 14 ounces. Audrey is their second granddaughter, with a third addition to the Puskarich family on its way. Their son, Tom, and wife Alana of Napole will be returning to Rhode Island for a few months to introduce their first child near Christmas.

Tom and Mamie Streightiff and Kenny, Kristi and Jase Watkins visited with Tim Streightiff last weekend in Washington, D.C. The group enjoyed a baseball game and a visit to the zoo.

Betty Ramsey, Joe, Melanie, Cody and Dison Myers and Kim and Ed Stevens spent a recent weekend in Pittsburgh visiting with Eric and Hilary Costello and Holly and Aden Forslund. While there, they did some shopping and took in a Pirates game.

Betty Ramsey and Kim and Ed Stevens travelled to Wilkes Barre last weekend to celebrate Emily Ramsey’s high school graduation and Ashley Ramsey’s college graduation.

Joe and Melanie Myers spent the weekend in Chincoteague, Va., sightseeing and fighting off the mosquitoes.

The Clear Ridge ladies and gents will host a festival on July 21 with ham dinners, homemade pies and ice cream. Raspberry ice cream will be the feature flavor this month.

Visiting recently with the Steve and Karen Grissinger family were Dale and J. R. Stains, Donna Locke, Tom and Mamie Streightiff, Brian, Emily, Micah and Pat Ramsey, and Ramon Martin.

Immanuel Bible Church will be hosting Bible School from July 24 to July 29. A kickoff picnic will be held on July 23, with a pool party to follow on August 5. The theme this year will be a beach blast. Bible school classes will run from 6:15 to 8:15 each evening.

A Sportsmen’s Outreach will be held at Immanuel Bible Church on August 20 with speakers, prizes and good food. Special speaker for the event will be author and humorist Joey Hancock. The Wissmann Family will present a concert following the Sportsmen’s Outreach program. Everyone is welcome to attend.
