Kids Get Creative At Summer Art Camp

Budding artists enrolled in kindergarten through sixth grade take part in a three-day art camp last week that was sponsored by the county Parks & Recreation Commission. Held at Great Cove Golf & Recreation Club, the art camp explored animals and gave the youngsters the opportunity to create a variety of projects. Here, certified art education teacher Erin Gillespie, far left, helps Sadie Creager with a project. Also pictured, continuing from left, are Emma Hann, Rosalyn Truax, Luke Brumback, Elliot Wakefield and Logan Mellott.
