Prescription Pills Seized

Charges are currently pending lab results of alleged prescription drugs that were seized during a vehicle check in Thompson Township last week.

State police in Mc- Connellsburg reported they stopped to check on the wellbeing of Nicholas Andrew Spessard, of Hancock, Md. on Thursday, June 23. Spessard, 34, was pulled onto the berm at the intersection of Stillwell and Pigeon Cove roads at 7:46 p.m., police said.

During their check, police determined Spessard allegedly possessed drug paraphernalia and prescription pills not prescribed to him. Both the paraphernalia and the pills were seized and sent to the crime lab for further analysis.
