Todd Wolfe of Frank’s Coffee Service puts the finishing touches on installing the beverage machine in The Corner Gift Shop at Fulton County Medical Center. The shop is slated to open in late July. When Fulton County Medical Center moved to its new facility in 2007, there seemed to be something missing, a gift shop. But coming late July that will all change with the opening of “The Corner Gift Shop.”

The shop will be a collaborative effort between the FCMC Foundation and the auxiliary. It will feature cards, books, jewelry, newspapers, toys, snacks and beverages, just to name a few items. The prime location in the corner of acute care and rehabilitative services will offer folks the opportunity to browse through the shop while visiting patients or waiting for appointments.

The Corner Gift Shop will be totally run by volunteers and will be open daily. For more information on how you can volunteer, please call Helen Overly at 717-485-4705.
