Re-Creation To Perform

Re-Creation Re-Creation The singing group Re- Creation will present its Broadway program Saturday, July 9, at 7 p.m., in McConnellsburg High School auditorium. The family variety show salutes the songs of the Great White Way and many familiar classics that will mesmerize audience members of all ages.

Re-Creation travels all over the United States presenting therapeutic programs for the nation’s hospitalized veterans. The program is a free gift to the mcConnellsburg community in honor of its own local veterans. There is no cost for admission. Free food will be provided from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the lobby of the school.

McConnellsburg United Methodist Church, 121 North Second Street, Mc- Connellsburg, is also pleased to announce that Re-Creation will present its “Stand Strong” program during worship on Sunday, July 10, at both the 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. services. The worship experience focuses on the potential of God’s power in our lives. The program includes traditional hymns, praise and worship, children’s songs, contemporary pieces, dramatic works and original music. A freewill offering will be received on Sunday morning to go directly to the group’s service to America’s hospitalized veterans. McConnellsburg native Ryan Chamberlain will be singing at both programs.
