The annual Fraker-Gobin Reunion will be held on July 10 at the Kennywood picnic area on the property of Ken and Daphne Fraker.

Brian, Emily and Micah Ramsey visited with Roger and Pat Ramsey on Thursday evening.

Visiting recently with the Steve and Karen Grissinger family were Tim and Shirley Henry, Donnie Horne, Donna Locke, Buc Mills, Mike, Chris and Kevin Pintozzi and friends Colin, Steve and Brad. Also visiting on Tuesday evening were Dee and Taylor Heaster and Tom, Mamie, Kristi and Jase Watkins, who enjoyed checking out all the baby animals on the farm.

On Sunday evening, the Grissinger family celebrated Tammy’s birthday with a cookout and campfire. Attending were Buzz and Bea Covert, Nook and Janet Brown, Ramon Martin, and Tom and Mamie Streightiff.

Saturday evening the men of the Orbisonia UMC enjoyed a belated Father’s Day dinner prepared by the ladies of the church, followed by “man games” hosted at the Anderson farm.

Visitors at the Gordon and Donna Locke residence on Sunday for dinner and home-made ice cream were Adam, Amanda, Toryn, Cameron and Brayden Locke, Ruth Grissinger and Justin Locke.

The Angel Wings ladies will be a local vendor at the “Thomas the Train” event at EBT on Friday and Saturday. Stop by and show them your support. Items for sale will include snacks, coffee mugs, bracelets, hot dogs and much more. All proceeds will go to replenish the Angel Wings seed money in preparation for their next event.

Penn Central Physical Therapy Inc. will celebrate 20 years in the making on July 1. An open house is planned for November 4, with more details to follow.

Visiting with Fred and Sharon Horne are Vadiam, Heidi, Emra, Coral and Orion Roude of Florida. The grandchildren will be spending a few weeks visiting in the area.

The children of Miles and Geraldine Horne held a family reunion on Saturday at Aitch, near Raystown Lake.

Tom and Mamie Streightiff and Kenny, Kristi and Jase Watkins enjoyed a game with the Pittsburgh Pirates vs. the Boston Red Sox on Friday.

Immanuel Bible Church will host Bible School July 24-29. A pool party will follow on August 5.

A Sportsmen’s Outreach will be held at Immanuel Bible Church on August 20 with speakers, prizes and good food. The Wissmann Family will present a concert following the program. Everyone is welcome to attend.
