Hustontown

By Kate Berkstresser

It was great to get out and enjoy a beautiful weekend.

Knobsville United Methodist Church held a festival on Saturday evening. Glad to hear they had a good crowd

The family of Kate and the late Herbert Berkstresser held their reunion at Forbes Road Lions Park on Sunday. It was nice to have a good turnout and good times together. A reunion is plann- ed for next year at the same place. Family members attended from Slippery Rock, Carlisle, McConnellsburg as well s local family members. If you missed this year plan for next year.

Glad to report Betty and Dorothy Shotts are back home from the hospital and doing better. We hope for a full recovery.

Sorry to hear Colleen Kylor is not feeling up to par. We send get well wishes to her.

New pastor David Pine had his first service at Hustontown Church of God Sunday. Pine replaces retiring pastor Donald Rowe.

Belated happy birthday wishes to Ron Spade, June 1; Goldie Mellott, June 1; Drew Mellott, June 4; Marian Evans, June 4; Joyce Brennan, June 7; Christopher Gress, June 10; Sharyn Hill, June 16; and Michael Gress, June 18.

Household Hint: When carrying a heavy or fragile object in your car, hold it down with a seatbelt. Should you get into an accident, the object may otherwise fly and injure you or someone in the car. If you have a spillable container it can be secured by a seatbelt. Seatbelts are not only for children and adults.
