Festivals Fairview United Methodist Church will hold ice cream festivals this year on July 16 and September 10. The church is located four miles north of Hustontown on North Hess Road. Homemade ice cream, soups, sandwiches, french fries and desserts will be sold. The festivals will begin at 4 p.m.

Festival Center United Methodist Church will hold a festival Saturday, July 9, beginning at 4 p.m. Turkey or ham dinners with all the fixings will be served, with other foods available. Turkey Dinner

A turkey dinner will be held at Clear Ridge Community Building June 23, at 4 p.m. Served will be sandwiches, pies and ice cream. Steak/Chicken Dinner

A steak and chicken dinner will be held June 25, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., at Pleasant Union Church fellowship hall. Served will be cubed steak, chicken, ham, potatoes, green beans, applesauce, roll, cake and softserve ice cream, by donation. The hall is located at 259 Pleasant Union Church Road, Clearville. Free Meal

St. Paul Lutheran Church at 220 North Third Street, McConnellsburg, will serve a free meal the second Tuesday of each month from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Come and enjoy good food and fellowship. Note: no free meal in July but will continue again in August.
