The third annual Appalachian Mountain Late Model Speedweek kicked off Saturday night as 48 cars signed into Hagerstown Speedway.

And what a finish it was as Wisconsin driver Jimmy Mars used a three-wide pass on Austin Hubbard and Steve Shaver on the final lap of the 40-lap event to secure his first ever Hagerstown feature win.

Mars came from the 11th starting spot and moved into contention late in the event and defeated Hubbard, Shaver, Jamie Lathroum and Vic Coffey with Dan Stone, JT Spence, Tim McCreadie, Roy Deese, Jr. and Jason Covert. Frankie Plessinger was 15th while Marvin Winters and Brent Smith did not qualify.

Eddie McCellan won the pure stock main over Tony Catlett, Steve Lowery, Danny Beavers and Frank Dibella.

Late Model Speedweek moved to Winchester Speedway Sunday night where is was Josh Richards scoring the victory over Jeremy Miller, Austin Hubbard, DJ Myers, Rick Eckert, Frankie Plessinger, Dan Stone, JT Spence, Duane Harbaugh and Jason Covert.

Late Model Speedweek continued Monday at Roaring Knob then Williams Grove, Lincoln tonight, Port Royal Thursday and Bedford Friday.

Cory Haas won a snooze fest of a 410 Sprint car feature Friday night on terrible rubber down track conditions. Haas beat Danny Dietrich, Brent Marks, Tyler Walker and Don Kreitz, Jr.

Mark Smith won the URC 360 Sprint car event at the Grove over Curt Michael, Lance Dewease, JJ Grasso and Aaron Ott.

It took three rain delays before Brian Montieth could win Saturday night’s 30-lap Weldon Sterner Memorial for 410 sprints at Lincoln Speedway. The feature ended at 1:15am Sunday thanks to three separate rain events.

Montieth took the win over Justin Henderson, Fred Rahmer, Greg Hodnett and Daryn Pittman.

The Lincoln 358 Sprint car feature was postponed and will be made up June 18th.

Kenny Trevitz won Saturday’s late model feature at Selinsgrove Speedway over Steve Campbell, Matt Cochran, Chad Davis and Jim Yoder.

The 358 Sprint car feature at Selinsgrove was rained out and will be made up this weekend.

Jeff Rine made a late race charge to capture his 10th career Bedford Speedway Late Model win on Friday night. Rine’s win came over Jack Pencil, Dylan Yoder, Greg Fetters and Matt Parks.

Grant Adams won a career first Limited Late Model feature at Bedford over Matt Sponaugle, Robbie Black, Travis Stickley and Donnie Farling.

Steve Owings and Billy Dietrich split double 358 Sprint car features Friday at Trail-Way Speedway.

Owings won a rained out feature from the week before over Dale Hammaker, Joe Trone Jr., Jeff Rohrbaugh and Logan Schuchart, while Dietrich won the regular event over Tim Wagaman, Kyle Moody, Schuchart and Rohrbaugh.

Carl Billet became the eighth different winner in as many events in Saturday night 358 Late Model action at Susquehanna Speedway Park.

Billet’s race came in a rain shortened 13-lap feature over Charles Potts, Randy Chrstine Jr., Gene Knaub and Cam Zeigler.

Matt Sponaugle was the Saturday night Limited Late Model winner at the Rock Allegany County Speedway over Brian Lowery, Nathan Lasalle, Scott Daniels and Barry Miller.

You can see the full results elsewhere, but congratulations to Logan Wagner on winning the 305 Sprint portion of the All Sprint Nationals Sunday at Path Valley. He led a Fulton County top three as he defeated his brother Michael, and Mark Watkins was third.

Lance Dewease won Sunday’s All Star East region event at Clinton County Speedway over Justin Henderson, Sam Hafertepe Jr., Greg Hodnett and Mark Smith.

Saturday night racing at Williams Grove and Port Royal speedways was rained out.
