PSP Mounted Unit Visits Camp Cadet



Pennsylvania State Troopers Hamilton and Zook spent Tuesday morning at Camp Cadet with the Class of 2011 cadets. The mounted unit, headquartered at the Pennsylvania State Police Academy in Hershey, is often used for crowd control and the 29 cadets received a demonstration on how the horses are used. The 17th annual camp began Sunday at Sinoquipe Scout Reservation and will run through this Friday evening. Graduation services will be held on Friday at 6 p.m. lakeside. The graduation speaker will be Mercersburg Police Chief John Zechman (PSP, Ret.). The public is invited to attend.
