Work To Begin On Two Bridges In Fulton County
Beginning Monday, May 16, prime contractor George S. Hann & Son Inc. of Fort Littleton will start work on two bridges in Thompson Township, Fulton County, on Route 2004 (Johnsons Mill Road) over the Little Tonoloway Creek.
Work on these bridges will consist of removing and replacing the bridge deck, paving the roadway approaches and guiderail upgrades.
This work will be done under half-width construction that will be controlled by temporary stop signs.
Work on these bridges is part of a $1.2 million contract that will rehabilitate a total of eight bridges in Fulton, Huntingdon and Somerset counties. All work is expected to be completed by October 2012.
