Sobriety Checkpoint To Be Held
In the upcoming weeks, Pennsylvania State Police in McConnellsburg will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint station. Motorists encountering the checkpoint will be stopped only briefly. However, any indication that a driver has consumed alcohol or a controlled substance will result in detainment for additional investigation. Primary emphasis, state police said in their announcement, will be on driving-under-theinfluence violations, but all laws will be enforced.
