Georgia K. Ross
Georgia Kendall Ross, 62, Burnt Cabins, died Monday, May 9, 2011, with her loving family by her side at Fulton County Medical Center.
She was born August 1, 1948, in Burnt Cabins, the daughter of the late Paul and Agnes (Kearns) Glunt.
She attended the Maddensville Church of God. She was a member of the Women’s Auxiliary of the Mc- Connellsburg VFW.
She is survived by five children: Julia (Jeffrey) Piper of Rebersburg, Pa.; Robert (LaRae) Elliott of Souix Falls, S.D.; Tony (Heather) Thurber of Burnt Cabins; Gary (Michael) Thurber of Burnt Cabins; and Dennette Kendall of Burnt Cabins; seven grandchildren; and two brothers: Richard Glunt of Fort Littleton and Glendal Glunt of Lakeland, Fla.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Agnes Glunt; her husband William Ross; and one sister, Leona Devlin.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Thursday, May 12, 2011, at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home in McConnellsburg. A visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at Kelso- Cornelius Funeral Home.
