The annual spring festival sponsored by Trinity United Church of Christ will be held on Saturday, May 14, from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m., rain or shine. There will be flea market, yard sale and craft vendors. The food stand will open with breakfast served at 8 a.m. the menu throughout the day will include country ham sandwiches, soups, french fries, hot dogs, steamers and drinks. Chicken barbecue will be available at 11:30 a.m. There will be a yard and garden plant sale also. Entertainment will be from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. by Mike Scott and the Gospel Jammers from Willow Hill, followed by open mic.
Carl Ocker of Kenny’s Auction House will offer antiques appraisals from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. It will cost $5 for one item and $10 for three items. Bring lawn chairs and enjoy a relaxing day in the country. Set up for vendors begins at 7 a.m. There is a $5 set up fee. Contact Barb Hurst at 369-2686 to reserve a space.
