R. Dewayne Bloom
He was born November 18, 1938, in Monroe Township, a son of the late Reese Edward Bloom and Dorothy (Messersmith) Bloom Kriner.
He is survived by two sisters: Cheryl A. Smith of Artemas and Dorothy L. Wible and husband Joseph Wible of Chambersburg; a brother, William E. Bloom, and wife Russella (Hull) Bloom of Big Cove Tannery; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Diane E. Kriner; a brother, James E. Bloom; and a brother-in-law, Guy M Smith.
He attended Faith Assembly of God Church in Warfordsburg, enjoying the fellowship and sharing his kindness with others. He liked being outdoors, caring for wildlife and listening to country and bluegrass music, attending music festivals where he could spend time with others sharing stories and familiar interests. He was a loving brother, uncle, and friend who will be missed for his happy and caring ways.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 19, 2011, at 1 p.m. in the chapel at Dalla Valle Funeral Service, Everett. Rev. Delmas Bard officiated. Burial was at Damascus Church Cemetery.
